Residents have seen the full body apparition of a man on two occasions, they have also witnessed a
bright light in the upstairs bathroom, disembodied faces in the sliding glass door window and
disembodied voices of a man and woman and objects moving around.

The Investigation
The set up for the investigation began at about 8 p.m. with team members placing infrared surveillance cameras in
area of previous alleged activity. One camera was placed in the kitchen area, another on the stairway, another in
the master bedroom and one outside on the patio. Control pictures were also taken.
The team then broke into two groups with Becca and Randy in one and Charlotte, Fred and Julie in the other.
Sabrina had left after getting impressions of the home while camera setup was commencing.
Becca and Randy made their way up the staircase and began their first EVP session of the evening. Charlotte,
Fred and Julie also began their first session downstairs in the living room. On the dining room table, Fred placed a
Trifield meter on the kitchen table and near a laptop computer which was turned off, Julie placed a KII meter. Both
Julie and Charlotte placed digital voice recorders on the table and began the question session. At about 9:30 p.m.,
the KII meter lit up as if in reaction to a
statement by one of the residents. Charlotte
proceeded to set up a Sony video camera to
see if the team could catch additional reaction
on the meter. The meter again reacted and
this time it was caught on film. As Becca and
Randy came downstairs a short while later, the
teams switched and Charlotte, Fred and Julie
headed upstairs and conducted an EVP
session in the hallway near the bedrooms.
At about 10 p.m. they entered a bedroom at
the East end of the hallway and began an EVP
session. Both Charlotte and Julie thought they
faintly heard a woman’s voice or the voice of a
young boys but could not tell what was said. A
few seconds later, the KII lit up. The team
then continued the session and ended a few
minutes later.
In the next bedroom, the team conducted an
EVP session and during the session, the video
camera suddenly shut off as it sat on the bed
as if someone had turned the switch off.
In the master bedroom, another EVP session
was conducted and then the Team made its
way downstairs and took a short break to
compare notes with Becca and Randy who
stated they felt uncomfortable on the stair
landing and while Fred, Charlotte and Julie
had been upstairs, they had heard strange
noises on the first floor that they couldn’t
explain.
Both teams remained downstairs for a final
EVP session and as it commenced, one
resident decided to step out for a cigarette
and the KII reacted. It must be noted that na
investigator had at this time also made a
reference to the movie "Poltergeist." Following
additional attempts to illicit a reaction, the
team wrapped up the investigation.
Nothing caught on digital camera or video. One clear EVP was obtained in the Eastern upstairs bedroom and the KII
did trigger at least four times, some of which were caught on video. We still can not explain why the camera shut off
with the switch turned to off as the team was standing around it. However, it must be noted that there is high EMF
emitting from a clock radio in the master bedroom, the lights in the master bedroom bathroom, the refrigerator in
the kitchen which extends through the wall to a bathroom on the ground floor. There is also high EMF near the
couch from a hand-held lamp switch. High EMF can cause headaches, paranoia, body aches and pains and
assorted other maladies.
Nancy Matz performed a reading from her Arizona home and said she saw a man of short build, older, standing in the
living room near the couch. She also saw an older woman standing in the hallway upstairs near the bedrooms. She
was pointing in the direction of the East bedroom as if she wanted Nancy to see what was in there. Sabrina felt as if
someone had committed suicide on or around the premises.
Sabrina felt there may have been a suicide on or near the property. She also felt confusion.
Durring the post it was revealed that the children had used an Ouija board in the home which may have, according to
Caren, opened a doorway.
During the post, Caren saw four distinct spirits in the house. One is a man who seems to be patrolling the outer area
of the property as if he watching over everything. The second spirit is of a short man who is angry and torments the
family. The other two spirits in the home appear to be sad and confused. One is an older woman and the other is a
young girl.
Caren spent most of the evening attempting to calm the older man who seemed to want to "help raise the children"
He allegedly told Caren that he was angry with the family but would not elaborate. He also told Caren that he missed
his mother.
Conclusion
Coupled with the psychic consultants readings and the KII evidence as well as the EVP and camera shutting off by
itself, there is activity in the house that can not be explained but it also must be noted that the high EMF could affect
the residents living in the home and could play a part in what they have been experiencing.
This investigation is still ongoing as California Haunts will do all that it can to put the family at ease.
