The Investigation
The homeowner and both of her daughters have experienced seeing apparitions in the house and
backyard, and have experienced physical contact with unseen forces such as scratches, bruising, doors
opening and closing. The california haunts team paid two visits to the house and this is what resulted.

Team showed up at about 7 p.m. and set up equipment. Five surveillance cameras were used, one pointing down
the hallway, one in the yiung girl's room, one in the teen's room, one in the kitchen and one in the living room.
Lights out was done at about 8:15 p.m. and team members broke into two teams while Charlotte remained at the
monitor in the living room. As investigators began taking pictures in the house, Rose and Kat suffered battery
drain and had to replace batteries in their cameras a couple of times.
Caren, the psychic for the evening reported the presence of an old man in the young girl's room who seemed to
be watching over her, possibly her grandfather. Caren also reported a dark energy that seemed to emanate from
the spirit of a teen-age boy who liked hanging around the teenage girl and her bedroom. The boy liked to try and
get her attention by poking and slapping her.
As the night progressed, Caren also noted the spirits of two young children whom she thought might be the ones
poking residents as well.
EVP's were performed in every room of the house as well as measurements taken with Elecro Magnetic
Frequency Meters. All readings were consistent with household appliances.
During an EVP session in the teenager's room, investigators noted knocking sounds from walls in response to
questions and they also noted the blinds moving at times.
Second Investigation
Charlotte returned one month later with Kat, Louise, Cassie, Wytnei and Jerry. The homeowner and the family left
the team alone in the house.
The investigation began at about 8 p.m. and Charlotte set up a Sony video camera in the youngest daughter's
bedroom. Right from the start the battery died and Charlotte then plugged the unit into a wall. An IR light that
attached to the camera refused to work the whole night although at home the next day, it worked perfectly.
EVP sessions were conducted throughout the house, some using dousing rods. In the youngest daughter's room,
EMF was high on the night of the second investigation.
At one point Charlotte placed some hard candy on the bed in the master bedroom and about five minutes later, it
sounded as if someone was opening the wrappings. Charlotte also heard what sounded like a child's voice say
something but it was faint.
All in all the second investigation was quiet.
Nothing was caught on still camera or video. Two EVP’s were garnered from the house. The mother and
daughters are all psychic and tend to draw in spirits. While the EVP's yielded voices in response to questions,it is
the opinion of the team that while there may be activity in the house, the house is not haunted. Its occupants are
the draw and focus of the spirit activity. Caren will continue working with the family.
On the day of the post, Psychic Nancy Matz talked with the family in an effort to help empower them to deal with
the many spirits they will encounter in their lifetimes.
