First Floor Kitchen
I walk through the dining room and into the kitchen area,
the first waiters station feels disturbed, not picking up on
any one spirit but the energy is repressed. As I reach the
cooks port (cooking area) I feel an urge to stop and listen.
I am sensing the sinister older man (Fred?), who informs
me that he loves to screw around and test the
Chefs/Cooks to make sure the know “what the F**** they
are doing!” This sinister male spirit has arrogance and
controlling tone. He implicates that he knows what the
heck he is doing and that people should listen to him. He
may rattle pots and pans around, or
Kitchen closed at night time. Employees were setting
up for morning in dining room –can’t find cooks. Went
to kitchen, found them locked in dry storage. They were
pounding and yelling to get out of there. A table also
moved.

Cook has reported putting  pudding cups on a pan in
freezer and then finding them knocked to the ground.

In walk-in freezer, oranges fell off a shelf.

shake things up in this area to keep the
“Cooks on their toes!” I can best
describe him as a grumpy old fart! He
also hangs out in the wine cellar
banging bottles and stuff around and
he likes to play tricks on the employees
to get their attention. During this time,
Dustin is taking pictures and he tells
me I look pale & that I look like I am
going to faint!! I immediately go out of
the kitchen and get some fresh air. I
Carin
remind my spirit guides to come in and protect me and I
call in Agnes who tells me that he can’t touch me. I pick up
that this sinister old man was originally from Kansas and
that at one time he had some investments with Murphy’s
hotel. He was very controlling in life and coincidently; he
was forced out of the hotel by other investors who did not
want to deal with him. I cannot pick up how he died;

although I can sense that he wanted to have “his say” and run this hotel his way after his death. I do
not believe that he is a true evil force but he can be very disruptive and the living can tell him to
move out of the way. He continues to say, “These workers and Cooks have no damn respect, and
they are lazy!” When I ask him why does he want to be apart of a negative way with the hotel, he
replies, “None of your damn business!” He never got out being pushed out of the hotel in his
earthly life. I believe that employees and guest need to be aware of him but to ignore him and not
feed into his negative energy force.
