The team arrived at about 7:30 p.m. and set up surveillance equipment in the hallway, the living
room and the girl’s room. Charlotte and Janelle interviewed the mother in the girl’s room near her
crib. During the interview, the little girl came into the doorway but would not go further-her eyes
were wide as she stared at a spot near the crib.
The team then began taking baseline readings and once those were completed, noted where all
the high readings were. One ran consistently along the floor-more than likely wiring. Another high
reading came from children’s lamps in the girl’s room.
Lights out. John, Janelle and Amber began taking meter readings in the hallway, slowly moving into
the girl’s room and then the parent’s room which is directly across from the girl’s room. Charlotte
monitored the teams on the surveillance cameras and the little girl slept on a couch in the living
room.
Once the meter sweeps were completed, John, Janelle and Amber decided to perform an evp
session in the parent’s room where they allegedly contacted a younger woman via the dousing
rods. They next went to the girl’s room to do a session and then returned to the parent’s room. This
time Amber felt a cold spot as the session commenced. John decided to go into the girl’s room to
sit quietly. Once seated, Amber reported that the cold spots had disappeared. At the same instant,
John reported a cold spot in the girl’s room.
With the investigation winding down, Charlotte, taking the KII meter, went into the girl’s room and
sat on the floor. She began talking with whatever spirit might be present. Charlotte then began
challenging the spirit, calling it a coward for picking on the girl, ordering it to leave the girl alone
and stay out of her room. Every time Charlotte made a demand, the KII meter would react, all the
while being filmed.
Charlotte threatened to bring in someone who could remove the spirit. Charlotte spent about 10
minutes in the room. The investigation at that point was over.
The team packed up the equipment and left. When Charlotte called Nancy Matz the next day, Nancy
reported that the man was now in the hallway, afraid to enter the room. A few days later, John
spoke with the girl’s mother who reported that she was now sleeping in her room for the first time
in many weeks.
Evidence: Nothing came up on photographs or video. Team members felt cold spots and the KII did
react as Charlotte made demands in the girl’s toom.
Conclusion: All is quiet in the house and the girl does sleep in her room. California Haunts would
like to return to the house with either Caren or Sabrina to send the man permamantly from the
home. Although there was no evidence, California Haunts, after listening to the stories and seeing
the reaction of the little girl in her own bedroom, could not find any explanation as to why the girl
was so afraid. The team has reason to believe that the home is haunted.
Three residents live in the house in South Sacramento.
A man, woman and young daughter, 4.
The girl's mother reported that the daughter would not sleep in her bedroom at night and was seen talking
to someone unseen while sitting on the end of the parent’s bed one night. Mother has witnessed the girl
arguing over a toy or blanket with no one there.

Caren, a sensitive with California Haunts did a pre
read on the home and said there was an older angry
male who tormented the little girl, she also saw a
woman. Caren sensed some type of connection
between the girl and the man.
Nancy Matz, who lives in Arizona and doesn’t know
Caren described the house and the man as well. She
described him as being an old "Fart" She also told
Charlotte where the man’s spirit liked to be so that he
could watch the whole house and the goings on there.
She felt that there is a connection between the
man and the girl-maybe a past life.
