California Haunts was called on scene because the client was hearing voices in
her bedroom and felt uneasy in other areas of the home. The client also claimed
that her pant leg had been touched while sleeping on the couch. As the client
was afraid to be in her home, California Haunts made an emergency trip to the
home to investigate.

Investigators arrived at about 7 p.m. and Trish, the psychic for the evening did walk-through of
the home. The investigators split into two teams.
Charlotte and Rose interviewed the client as John's team began its investigation.
John and Tracy began their investigation at approximately 1935 hours in the master bedroom of
the residence. John and Tracy looked into the claims of voices heard in the master bedroom.
John went to the exterior of the residence and called to investigators from the driveway and lawn
of the residence. John’s voice was clearly heard through the mail slot and in the surrounding
room as his voice echoed throughout. Voices from guests at the residence across the street
were clearly heard. A vehicle with a loud muffler drove through the area and as the vehicle
passed the residence, John noted that while sitting on the floor, the loud muffler sounded much
like a low, male hum.
John and Tracy then conducted an Electronic Voice Phenomena session in the master bedroom.
John then went to the backyard of the residence and began yelling to test the theory that
individuals walking along the railroad tracks may be heard in the front master bedroom area.
Tracy was able to hear John’s voice in the master bedroom but it was low and muffled. John had a
theory that since the train tracks were elevated above the residence that voices could be carried
from the tracks, over the residence and be heard clearly in the front of the residence. John and
Tracy traveled to the train tracks close to the residence.
In the meantime, Charlotte, Rose and Trish went into the master bedroom to conduct their own
Electronic Voice Phenomena session and the re-entered the living room.
John and Tracy climbed to the top of the tracks and while communicating with Rose via walkie
talkie, began speaking loudly on the top of the tracks. Rose and other investigators did not hear
John and Tracy speaking loudly on the tracks.
Other Electronic Voice Phenomena sessions were held as well in the living room.
Also, the street in front of the home had moderate vehicle and pedestrian traffic. The street isa
main residential thoroughfare. The residence across the street had numerous visitors of college
age coming and going. Train tracks run directly behind the client’s residence on a raised platform
level. While sitting in her vehicle, Tracy noticed that when the train passed by it caused her
vehicle to “bounce” and vibrate.
Nothing was obtained from Electronic Voice Phenomena sessions. Nothing was caught on still or
video cameras. EMF readings were in line with those of appliances.
Investigators were able to narrow the voices in the bedroom to the mail slot. The walls are also
bare in the room causing an echo and the voices at times seem like they are in different places
within the room.
The railroad levee behind the house is above the roof-line and after tests, voices could not be
heard from that location, however, while investigators were outside, they noted the numerous
neighbors who walked past the house for various family-type reasons. There are also a lot of
college kids in the area.
Trish did not pick up on any spirits in the house however both Caren and Nancy did say that the
woman's deceased brother does protect her.
In conclusion, it is our belief, based on the evidence and the proximity of the mail drop that the
voices did come from the street outside. The tug the woman felt on her pant leg was more than
likely a dream and the feeling of being touched oh the pant leg could have been caused by the
vibration and movement from the train felt while in a semi sleeping state. This could give the
illusion of being touched.
And after looking at all the factors in the case, we have determined there is no haunting in the
home.
